Intellect: Indonesian Journal of Learning and Technological Innovation is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal published by Yayasan Lembaga Studi Makwa (Makwa Foundation), Indonesia.
The journal follows a biannual publication schedule, publishing two regular issues each year, in June and December.
Since its establishment in 2022, Intellect has maintained a two-issue annual publication structure to ensure the regular dissemination of scholarly research in educational technology, learning innovation, and applied digital technologies for education.
The journal's annual publication cycle is organized as follows:
| Issue | Publication Period | Scheduled Month |
|---|---|---|
| Issue 1 (No. 1) | January–June | June |
| Issue 2 (No. 2) | July–December | December |
Each annual volume consists of two regular issues, identified sequentially as No. 1 and No. 2.
The publication months indicate the journal's regular issue schedule. Actual online publication dates of issues and articles are recorded separately in the journal's publishing platform.
Intellect considers manuscript submissions throughout the year, subject to its editorial requirements and submission procedures.
All manuscripts undergo initial editorial screening to assess their relevance to the journal's focus and scope, originality, scholarly contribution, methodological quality, and compliance with publication ethics.
Manuscripts that pass the initial assessment undergo a double-anonymous peer-review process involving at least two independent reviewers with relevant expertise.
The editorial process may include manuscript revisions, further assessments, and additional rounds of review when necessary.
The time required for editorial evaluation varies depending on the complexity of the manuscript, reviewer availability, the extent of revisions, and the completion of editorial requirements.
Manuscripts are considered for publication only after successfully completing the required editorial and peer-review procedures.
Accepted manuscripts are assigned to an appropriate forthcoming issue based on the date of acceptance, editorial readiness, production requirements, and the journal's publication schedule.
The Editor-in-Chief, supported by the Editorial Board, is responsible for determining the final assignment of accepted manuscripts to journal issues.
Acceptance of a manuscript does not automatically guarantee publication in a particular issue. Manuscripts requiring additional editorial or production work may be scheduled for a subsequent issue.
The journal does not offer a paid fast-track review service or guarantee accelerated acceptance or publication.
Intellect is committed to maintaining a consistent and transparent publication schedule in accordance with recognized principles of responsible scholarly publishing.
The journal distinguishes between its designated issue periods and the actual dates on which articles or issues become available online.
If an issue or article is released ahead of its designated publication month, its actual online publication date must be accurately recorded and made publicly available.
Submission, acceptance, and publication dates are maintained as separate records reflecting the actual stages of the editorial and publication process.
In exceptional circumstances that may affect the regular publication schedule, the journal will communicate relevant changes through its official website.
All published issues of Intellect are available online through the journal's open-access publishing platform.
Readers, authors, and other stakeholders can consult the journal's publication history, including previous volumes and issues, through the official journal archive.
