Indexing and Abstracting

Accreditation, scholarly discovery, and article metadata services

Intellect: Indonesian Journal of Learning and Technological Innovation (e-ISSN 2962-9233), published by Yayasan Lembaga Studi Makwa (Makwa Foundation), supports the visibility and discoverability of its published research through recognized journal records, scholarly information systems, and persistent article identifiers.

This page distinguishes national journal accreditation, bibliographic indexing and academic discovery, and DOI registration and metadata services. These activities serve different purposes and should not be interpreted as equivalent forms of journal evaluation or database coverage.

Information verified through public records

The services below are listed according to the publicly identifiable journal profiles and article records. A journal-level profile does not necessarily mean that every issue or article has been indexed or covered by that service.

1. National Accreditation and Journal Indexing

SINTA — Science and Technology Index

Intellect is listed on Indonesia's SINTA portal with a SINTA 5 national accreditation ranking. The official journal profile provides the accreditation status and associated bibliographic and citation information.

GARUDA — Garba Rujukan Digital

The journal has a dedicated record in GARUDA, Indonesia's national scholarly discovery platform, where bibliographic information and records of Intellect articles can be consulted. The number and availability of records may change as metadata are updated.

2. Academic Search and Article Discovery

Google Scholar

Intellect has a Google Scholar profile referenced by its GARUDA journal record. Google Scholar supports the discovery of scholarly publications and citation information. Its automated coverage may vary between articles and over time; a Google Scholar profile is not a journal accreditation and does not demonstrate comprehensive indexing of all published content.

3. Article DOIs and Crossref Metadata

Selected published Intellect articles display Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) under the 10.57255 prefix. A DOI provides a persistent link to an individual scholarly work, while deposited bibliographic metadata support citation, linking, and article discovery.

Crossref is a scholarly DOI registration and metadata infrastructure. DOI registration is not equivalent to acceptance by an abstracting or indexing database such as Scopus. Where a DOI has been registered and its metadata are available, readers can inspect the linked article record.

The publisher is responsible for maintaining the accuracy and persistence of registered metadata, including article titles, authors, journal information, publication dates, and DOI landing-page URLs. The existence of a DOI does not, by itself, guarantee that every metadata element has been deposited correctly.

4. Accuracy and Verification of Indexing Claims

Intellect is committed to presenting only indexing, abstracting, accreditation, and registration information that can be supported by publicly accessible records or official confirmation from the relevant service.

  • Verified status: A database or accreditation ranking is identified as current only when supported by an authoritative journal profile, official list, or written confirmation.
  • Journal-level versus article-level coverage: The existence of a journal record does not imply that all historical and newly published articles have been included.
  • Application or evaluation: A submission to an indexing service, a pending evaluation, or an expression of interest does not constitute acceptance or confirmed coverage.
  • Corrections to public information: Claims, logos, and external links should be reviewed and corrected when official status or coverage changes.

Databases and directories not identified as verified on this page should not be interpreted as confirmed indexing services for Intellect. New services will be added only after their journal records or confirmed coverage can be checked.

5. Metadata Quality and Scholarly Visibility

To support accurate discovery, the editorial team and publisher seek to maintain consistent metadata across the OJS website, DOI records, national discovery services, and published articles. Priority elements include the journal title and e-ISSN, author names and affiliations, article titles and abstracts, keywords, volume and issue details, publication dates, DOI information, and links to the Version of Record.

Where errors or omissions are identified, the journal will review the relevant records and submit corrections through the appropriate platform or service when technically available. Metadata corrections must reflect the authentic publication record and must not be used to change historical editorial or publication dates without a legitimate documented reason.

Indexing, citation visibility, and metadata dissemination do not influence independent editorial decisions, the journal's double-anonymous peer-review process, or its stated Article Processing Charge (APC) policy.

6. Information Updates and Reader Verification

The Editorial Board and publisher periodically review the journal's indexing and abstracting information. Readers and authors are encouraged to verify current accreditation, indexing, and article coverage directly through the respective official services rather than relying exclusively on website badges or promotional material.

Questions or corrections concerning the information on this page can be directed to the journal through its official Contact page.
