Reviewers

Independent expertise, rigorous scholarly evaluation, and responsible peer review in Islamic economics, finance, ethical enterprise, and sustainable development.

The Journal of Visionary Sharia Economy (JOVISHE) recognises the essential contribution of independent peer reviewers to the quality, credibility, and integrity of scholarly communication. Reviewers are selected for their subject-matter expertise, relevant research experience, and ability to provide constructive, evidence-based evaluations within the journal’s aims and scope.

In accordance with the journal’s stated Peer Review Process, manuscripts that proceed beyond editorial screening are evaluated by at least two suitably qualified reviewers through a double-anonymous review process. Additional expert assessment may be requested when required. Reviewer recommendations inform, but do not replace, the independent editorial decision.

Reviewer Responsibilities and Ethical Standards

Reviewers are expected to assess manuscripts objectively and constructively, with particular attention to originality, methodological rigour, theoretical contribution, ethical compliance, and relevance to the journal’s scholarly remit.

Reviewers must safeguard the confidentiality of manuscripts, declare actual or potential conflicts of interest, refrain from using unpublished materials for personal advantage, and alert the handling editor to suspected plagiarism, duplicate publication, data irregularities, or other research-integrity concerns. Reviewers should decline invitations when they lack sufficient expertise or cannot complete an impartial and timely assessment.

The Editorial Team is responsible for reviewer selection, conflict-of-interest management, oversight of the review process, and final editorial decisions. The journal does not guarantee that every person listed in this directory reviews manuscripts in every publication period.

Editorial Independence

Reviewer recommendations are advisory. Decisions to accept, revise, or reject manuscripts rest with the authorised editors and are based on scholarly merit, the journal’s editorial policies, and the integrity of the peer-review process.

For details of manuscript evaluation and editorial decision-making, please consult the Peer Review Process and Editorial Team.
