Article Processing Charge (APC)

The Journal of Educational Management and Strategy (JEMAST) applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) to support manuscript administration, peer review, editorial processing, and article production.

Authors are not required to pay any fee at the time of initial submission. The APC is charged only after the manuscript passes the initial editorial assessment and is approved to proceed to peer review.

1. Regular APC

For manuscripts in which all authors are affiliated with institutions in Indonesia: IDR 3,500,000 per article

2. International Collaboration APC

For manuscripts with an Indonesian corresponding author and at least one co-author affiliated with an institution outside Indonesia, a 10% discount applies: IDR 3,150,000 per article

3. Full APC Waiver for Qualified International Authors

A 100% APC waiver is available if at least one author affiliated with an institution outside Indonesia:

has a valid Scopus Author ID; and
has a Scopus h-index of at least 5.

Eligibility will be verified by the JEMAST Editorial Office through the author's Scopus profile.

If the waiver requirements are met, the article will be published with: 100% APC Waiver — No Article Processing Charge. The waiver takes priority over all other APC rates and discounts.

4. Payment and Editorial Policy

Only one APC category applies to each manuscript. The applicable priority is:

Full APC Waiver → International Author APC → International Collaboration APC → Regular APC

Payment of the APC does not guarantee acceptance or publication. All manuscripts remain subject to JEMAST's editorial assessment, peer-review process, revision requirements, and final editorial decision.
