Article Processing Charge (APC)

To support the manuscript management, peer-review, editorial, and article production processes, the EDUSAINS: Journal of Education and Science applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) to submitted manuscripts.

The APC contributes to the following publication-related processes:

  • manuscript administration and peer review;

  • editorial processing and language editing; and

  • article production and preparation for publication.

1. Regular APC

The regular Article Processing Charge is IDR 3,500,000 per article.

Articles involving at least one international author (an author affiliated with an institution outside Indonesia) are eligible for a 10% discount on the regular APC. Accordingly, the APC after the discount is IDR 3,150,000 per article.

2. APC for International Authors

For articles submitted by international authors, the Article Processing Charge is USD 170 per article.

3. Payment Policy

The APC must be paid after the manuscript has successfully completed the initial assessment and proceeds to the peer-review stage.

Authors are not required to make any payment at the time of initial submission. Detailed payment instructions will be provided by the journal's editorial office once the manuscript has entered the peer-review process.

Payment of the APC does not guarantee acceptance or publication of the manuscript. All manuscripts remain subject to the journal's editorial and peer-review procedures.

4. Refund Policy

All APC payments are non-refundable.

This policy applies because the APC covers the administrative, editorial, peer-review, and production-related processes initiated once the manuscript enters the review stage.

By making the APC payment, authors acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to the Article Processing Charge (APC) policy of EDUSAINS.
