Penerapan Model Role Playing dalam Menumbuhkan Sikap Empati Siswa di MI Asy Syafiiyah Goak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas model role playing dalam menumbuhkan sikap empati siswa di MI Asy Syafiiyah Goak. Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan model Kemmis dan McTaggart, yang terdiri dari dua siklus. Setiap siklus meliputi tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, angket, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model role playing meningkatkan nilai rata-rata empati siswa dari 60,5 pada siklus pertama menjadi 82,3 pada siklus kedua. Siswa lebih aktif dalam menunjukkan kepedulian terhadap teman dan lebih mudah memahami perspektif orang lain. Hasil ini mendukung teori Goleman (1995) tentang kecerdasan emosional serta penelitian sebelumnya mengenai efektivitas role playing dalam meningkatkan sikap sosial siswa. Oleh karena itu, model role playing direkomendasikan sebagai metode pembelajaran untuk menumbuhkan karakter empati pada siswa sekolah dasar.
