This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to enhance the quality of early childhood education at RA Qurratul A'yun through the implementation of interactive and engaging teaching strategies. Early childhood education plays a crucial role in the cognitive, emotional, and social development of children, making it essential to provide a stimulating and supportive learning environment. However, traditional teaching methods often fail to fully engage young learners or support their developmental needs. This research investigates the effectiveness of interactive teaching strategies, including hands-on activities, group work, and games, in fostering a more engaging and dynamic learning experience for children.
The study was conducted with a group of young learners at RA Qurratul A'yun during the 2024 academic year. The research follows a cyclical process of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data were collected through classroom observations, interviews with teachers, and feedback from students. The primary objective was to assess how these interactive teaching methods could improve children's participation, learning outcomes, and social skills.
The results indicated that interactive and engaging teaching strategies significantly enhanced children's involvement in class activities. Students demonstrated improved communication skills, increased enthusiasm for learning, and stronger social interactions with their peers. Teachers observed that the children were more eager to participate and showed a greater understanding of the material being taught.
In conclusion, the use of interactive and engaging teaching strategies at RA Qurratul A'yun has proven to be an effective approach in enhancing early childhood education. This research suggests that incorporating these strategies into early education curricula can help create a more dynamic, supportive, and enjoyable learning environment.
