Abstract

This study aims to improve the ability to read Surat Al-A'la among sixth-grade students at SD Negeri 18 Tanjung Gadang by implementing an interactive learning method based on audio-visual media. The research uses a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach conducted in two cycles. The results show that this method is effective in enhancing students' ability to read the Qur'an, particularly in terms of makharijul huruf and tajwid. The first cycle yielded positive results, although some students still faced difficulties. In the second cycle, with the implementation of collaborative methods and additional individual practice time, a significant improvement was observed in almost all students. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of interactive audio-visual methods can improve the quality of Qur'an learning at SD Negeri 18 Tanjung Gadang.
