Abstract

This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to improve the quality of early childhood education at RA Insan Utama by implementing innovative teaching strategies that foster active learning, creativity, and social development among young children. Early childhood education is a critical stage for cognitive, emotional, and social development, and using dynamic, interactive methods can significantly enhance learning outcomes. The study investigates the effectiveness of various innovative teaching approaches, such as play-based learning, storytelling, and group activities, in engaging children and enhancing their understanding of fundamental concepts.

The research was conducted with a group of preschool children at RA Insan Utama during the 2024 academic year. The study followed a cyclical process of planning, action, observation, and reflection, with each cycle focusing on refining teaching strategies based on ongoing observations. Data was collected through classroom observations, interviews with teachers and parents, as well as the analysis of children's progress through regular assessments and performance reviews.

Findings from the study indicated that the innovative teaching strategies significantly improved the children's participation, communication skills, and overall learning outcomes. The children demonstrated greater enthusiasm in class, showing more interest and engagement during activities. Additionally, the implementation of play-based and group learning activities fostered collaboration, problem-solving, and social interaction among the children, helping them develop essential skills that form the foundation for future learning.

In conclusion, the research highlights the importance of adopting innovative and interactive teaching strategies in early childhood education. The study suggests that RA Insan Utama should continue to integrate these approaches to further enhance the quality of education and create a more engaging, enjoyable learning environment for young children.
