Penggunaan Kartu Huruf Hijaiyah Bergambar untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Membaca Iqra’ Siswa Kelas II SDN 06 Punggung Lading

Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca Iqra’ siswa kelas II SDN 06 Punggung Lading melalui penggunaan media kartu huruf hijaiyah bergambar. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah masih rendahnya keterampilan siswa dalam mengenali huruf hijaiyah, melafalkan dengan tepat, serta menggabungkan huruf menjadi bacaan sederhana. Rendahnya minat belajar siswa terhadap materi membaca Iqra’ disebabkan oleh metode pembelajaran yang monoton dan kurang menarik. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini mencoba menghadirkan media kartu hijaiyah bergambar yang menyajikan huruf-huruf disertai ilustrasi visual untuk menumbuhkan rasa ingin tahu dan motivasi belajar. Penelitian dilakukan dalam dua siklus, masing-masing meliputi tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah 20 siswa kelas II. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, tes membaca Iqra’, serta dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada kemampuan membaca Iqra’ siswa di setiap siklus. Pada siklus I, sebagian besar siswa mulai mampu mengenali huruf hijaiyah dengan benar, meskipun masih terdapat kesalahan dalam pengucapan. Setelah perbaikan pada siklus II, kemampuan membaca siswa meningkat secara keseluruhan, ditandai dengan meningkatnya nilai rata-rata tes membaca Iqra’ dan antusiasme siswa dalam mengikuti pembelajaran. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan kartu huruf hijaiyah bergambar efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca Iqra’ siswa kelas II SDN 06 Punggung Lading
