Abstract

This research aims to improve the learning outcomes of students in the subject of Islamic Religious Education through the application of the Project Based Learning (PJBL) model on the topics of Mahabbah, Khauf, Raja’, and Tawakkal to Allah SWT. The study was conducted in class X at SMKN PP Padang Mengatas during the 2024/2025 academic year, with 12 students as the research subjects. The results show a significant improvement in students' learning outcomes after the implementation of the PJBL model. In the first cycle, the average score of the students reached 73.1, and in the second cycle, it increased to 86.1. Moreover, the PJBL model also successfully enhanced students' active participation in the learning process and their skills in asking questions and expressing opinions. The study concludes that the implementation of the PJBL model is effective in improving students' learning outcomes and motivation.
