Penerapan Metode Diskusi dalam Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Peserta Didik Pada Pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) di SMANegeri 2 Sutera
Abstract
This study aimed to improve students' learning outcomes in Islamic Education subjects in class F1 of SMA Negeri 2 Sutera through the implementation of the discussion method. This classroom action research was conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The results revealed an increase in the average learning outcomes, from 54.75 in the initial data to 71.94 in Cycle I and 82.08 in Cycle II. This improvement demonstrates the effectiveness of the discussion method in fostering active student participation, enhancing learning motivation, and strengthening material comprehension. These findings align with constructivist theory and cooperative learning principles, emphasizing the importance of social interaction in education. This study concludes that the discussion method is an effective alternative in Islamic Education teaching to improve learning outcomes and foster students' character values.
