Penerapan PBL dalam Meningkatkan Aktivitas Siswa Pada Pembelajaran PAI di Kelas IV SDN 04 Setia

Abstract

Education serves as a critical foundation for individual self-development and national progress. In the context of Islamic Religious Education (PAI), challenges such as low student engagement often stem from monotonous teaching methods, such as lectures and assignments, which lead to passive learning. This study aims to enhance student learning activities by implementing the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model with Video Comment and Group Investigation methods. This classroom action research was conducted with fourth-grade students at SDN 04 Setia, Dua Koto District, Pasaman Regency, focusing on the material "Living in Harmony" (Fiqh Element). The findings revealed that the implementation of the PBL model significantly improved student engagement and active participation in PAI learning. Group discussions, problem-solving, and peer interactions became more dynamic, resulting in an overall improvement in student learning outcomes.
