Abstract

This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to improve early childhood education at RA Al Ulya by implementing interactive and play-based learning approaches. The study explores how these methods can enhance student engagement, motivation, and understanding, fostering a more dynamic and effective learning environment for young children. The research is carried out in two cycles, with each cycle involving planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data is collected through classroom observations, student assessments, and teacher feedback.

The results show that play-based and interactive learning approaches significantly increase student participation and enthusiasm in the learning process. Activities such as role-playing, educational games, and storytelling make learning more engaging and enjoyable for students, leading to a deeper understanding of the material. These methods also support the development of essential skills such as communication, social interaction, and problem-solving. As a result, students are more confident and eager to explore new concepts and ideas.

Furthermore, the research highlights the positive impact of these approaches on the classroom atmosphere. Teachers report improved student-teacher and student-student interactions, creating a supportive and collaborative learning environment. The application of play-based learning allows children to learn through exploration and experience, which is crucial for their cognitive and emotional development.

In conclusion, this study demonstrates that interactive and play-based learning methods are highly effective in enhancing early childhood education at RA Al Ulya. These methods not only improve academic outcomes but also contribute to the holistic development of young learners. The findings suggest that such approaches should be adopted widely to promote engaging and effective learning experiences in early childhood education settings.
