Optimalisasi Metode Role Playing dalam Materi Ibadah untuk Meningkatkan Keaktifan dan Pemahaman Siswa Kelas II SD Negeri 19 Pasir Tinggi

Pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) di sekolah dasar sering kali menghadapi tantangan berupa rendahnya keaktifan siswa dalam proses belajar. Hal ini berdampak pada pemahaman materi yang masih terbatas, khususnya dalam praktik ibadah yang membutuhkan keterlibatan langsung siswa. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keaktifan dan pemahaman siswa melalui penerapan metode role playing. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SD Negeri 19 Pasir Tinggi pada siswa kelas II semester genap tahun ajaran 2024/2025 dengan jumlah peserta 26 orang. Desain penelitian menggunakan dua siklus, masing-masing terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi aktivitas belajar, tes pemahaman, dan angket respon siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan baik dari segi keaktifan maupun pemahaman siswa. Rata-rata keaktifan meningkat dari 58% pada pra-siklus menjadi 85% pada siklus II, sedangkan nilai rata-rata pemahaman materi ibadah meningkat dari 63 pada pra-siklus menjadi 84 pada siklus II. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode role playing efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran PAI, terutama dalam materi ibadah, karena memberikan pengalaman belajar yang konkret, menyenangkan, dan bermakna bagi siswa kelas II SD Negeri 19 Pasir Tinggi.
