This study aims to improve students' essay writing skills through the implementation of the Think-Talk-Write (TTW) method at MIS Al-Kautsar. The research employs Classroom Action Research (CAR) using the Kemmis and McTaggart model, which consists of planning, action, observation, and reflection in two cycles. The subjects are fifth-grade students who struggle to express their ideas in writing. Data were collected through writing skill tests, observations, interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that the implementation of the TTW method significantly enhances students’ writing skills. In the first cycle, students’ writing abilities improved by 30%, while in the second cycle, they increased to 55%. The TTW method helps students systematically organize their thoughts, starting with thinking (Think), discussing ideas with peers (Talk), and then expressing them in written form (Write). This study concludes that the TTW method is an effective strategy for improving students' essay writing skills at the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah level.
