This study aims to improve students' mastery of Arabic vocabulary through the use of flashcards at MIS Meuraksa Kota Lhokseumawe. The method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were fourth-grade students who had difficulty memorizing and understanding Arabic vocabulary. Data were collected through learning outcome tests, observations, and interviews with students and teachers. The results showed that the use of flashcards significantly improved students' vocabulary mastery. In the first cycle, there was an improvement in comprehension, but some students still struggled to recall new words. After improvements in the second cycle, students' understanding increased, as indicated by better test results and greater active participation in learning activities. The use of flashcards proved effective in helping students memorize vocabulary more quickly and increasing their learning motivation. Challenges faced included the limited number of flashcards and time constraints for their use. Therefore, additional strategies such as digital flashcards and repeated practice are needed to optimize learning. These findings suggest that flashcards can be an innovative alternative for teaching Arabic at the madrasah level.
